What is your take on Fiat’s dad ad?
When I first clicked on this video, I was expecting some kind of video that started in disaster but was solved by the tiny, but lovable Fiat. Then a few seconds in, I thought it would be this cute video about how the dad had turned into the neighborhood chauffeur and his Fiat was helping calm babies all over his city. But no! Instead, we got a five minute video of a guy singing about the terrors of fatherhood, from spit up, to bottles, to how he’ll “double up on the rubber” next time. When I shared the video with some colleagues I got mixed reactions.
What do you think? Is it hilariously honest? Or does it scare you off from the idea of procreating? Did you experience a day where things were so chaotic you just had to do something completely goofy to keep from breaking down altogether? I think this video might be a mix of all of them, and I also think I might be missing some of the British humor.
Dads, future dads, men … Thoughts? Is this how you feel some days while raising kids?
HT to Daddy’s Grounded for sharing the video!
